Upon crossing the border into Skyrim from Cyrodiil, he finds himself caught in a major skirmish between two warring factions, falsely accused, arrested, and sentenced to death. But our protagonist is not one who is in the habit of listening to warnings. 
His close friend and fellow bard Lore went on ahead of him, but turned back and warned him not to attempt the trip. It's told from the perspective of a Redguard from Hammerfell named Tristan Graves, who happens to be a bard on his way to the college at Solitude. It's an ongoing work with sporadic updates due to work and health constraints.
This is an experimental narration of my personal (modded) Skyrim adventure.
